This once derelict station has been replaced with a modern station design intended to represent a train emerging from a tunnel. Our contribution to the project consisted of the louvre fins fixed to the underside of the roof structure. Fluorescent lighting was set into the fins, providing a striking and functional nighttime effect.
Altering the initial design, our work here helped provide a cost-effective and time efficient installation. The alterations our design team made allowed for the fins to be welded into panels. This modularisation then made for a quick and impressive installation – the finishing touch to the station design providing a stylish spectacle to commuters.
